  We were so anxious to try Freda's but were sorely disappointed...we were appalled at no pricing on a printed list of "specials." We were embarrassed to ask so it ruined our evening by being shocked at the bill. We could have asked the prices but were embarrassed to...NEVER been to a place where no prices were listed...this was not the list verbally described by the server but a printed list: highway robbery! Plus salad was inedible, ginger dressing so salty it hurt our mouths. Thumbs down...I will spread the word to all I see!

  This quaint restaurant offers some of the best food I've had the pleasure of tasting. The cream of mushroom soup was absolutely amazing and I don't usually care for cream type soups.
  Everything my girlfriend and I ordered was prepared to perfection even the French fries were like no other..
  If you are visiting the Cape May area or maybe a local who hasn't wandered in yet please do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite to eat! Oh and don't forget to bring your favorite beer or wine with you! Yes its a BYOB! Hats off to the Chef team husband and wife!
